The latest housing report from The Warren Group is out and it shows median prices across the state are up a little more than 4 percent to 575 thousand dollars.
In Barnstable County, sales and prices went down. The number of sales dropped 15 percent while the median price also went down. The median price is still more than 682 thousand dollars.
Locally:
Barnstable sales soar by 150 percent while prices also increase to by more than 7 percent to 711 thousand dollars.
Bourne sales also dropped by 20 percent but prices were on the rise to 732 thousand dollars.
Chatham sales by 60 percent while prices also rose to nearly 1 point 7 million dollars.
In Dennis, the number of sales were off slightly but prices rose to 682 thousand dollars.
Hyannis sales dropped by almost 3 percent. Median prices dropped as well to 557 thousand dollars.
