A pedestrian is seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Hyannis.
The accident happened at around 6 p.m. Thursday on Barnstable Road near Center Street.
Police say the victim was taken to Cape Cod Hospital under a trauma alert.
Police have not released information on the driver and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
