Emergency Personnel Respond To Cape Sledding Accidents

Emergency personnel on the Cape responded to sledding accidents that left three people injured on Sunday.

In Yarmouth there was a sledding accident at the Bayberry Hills Golf Course at around 2:30 p.m. and firefighters had to use an ATV to reach the victim.

Just before 3:00 p.m. there was a sledding accident at the Bass River Golf Course on Highbank Road.

At around the same time in Eastham, first responders were called to Samoset Road near Jemima Pond for a sledding accident, but no further details are available.

The victims of all three accidents were taken to Cape Cod Hospital for evaluations.
