The Barnstable County Board of Regional Commissioners delivered an update on ARPA fund recipients.
All of the ARPA funds must be obligated by December 31 of this year and spent by December 31 of 2026.
One recipient is the Housing Assistance Corporation which has been awarded three-million-dollars to secure a building for expanded homelessness services managed by Catholic Charities and Duffy Health Center.
CEO Alisa Magnotta calls the project a transformative step forward for the region's most vulnerable individuals.
