There will be a number of Veterans Day ceremonies taking place on Cape Cod today.
In Barnstable, the Cape and Islands Veterans Outreach Center will hold its 7th Annual Veterans Town Hall, beginning at 9:30 this morning on the Hyannis Village Green.
Brewster will honor veterans at 10:00 a.m. at the Council on Aging and in Chatham there will be a ceremony at 11:00 this morning at the Community Center on Main Street.
In Dennis, the community is invited to commemorate Veterans Day by walking through Johnny Kelley Park where hundreds of U.S. flags have been placed to honor veterans, first responders and hometown heroes living a life of service.
Yarmouth will be holding an 11:00 a.m. ceremony at the Packet Landing Veterans Memorial Park.
