Trailer Filled With Hurricane Relief Donations Headed To North Carolina

A tractor trailer filled with donations for victims of Hurricane Helene is expected to head to North Carolina on Tuesday.

The donations of everything from bottled water to diapers and pet supplies were collected last week by Cape law enforcement and fire departments, local schools and churches.

Barnstable County Sheriff Donna Buckley put out the call for donations after receiving a request for help from sheriffs in North Carolina and transportation of the items is being donated by C. Carney Trucking.

More than one tractor trailer may be needed to take the donations to North Carolina.
