Eversource is blaming a transmission line issue on a brief power outage Wednesday morning on the Vineyard and Upper Cape.
The utility says about 27-thousand customers woke up to no power when something went wrong with a line that runs between Bourne and Falmouth that also provides electricity to Martha's Vineyard.
Service was quickly restored to the vast majority of customers.
Eversource says that it spent most of the day taking care of residual outages in the area.
It appears everyone is back on the grid.
