A special town meeting will take place in Chatham next month.
The September 16th session will consider a four-million-dollar waterfront upgrade project for a portion of Bridge Street.
This would include a shellfish upweller, public docking plus a small area set aside for commercial offloading of fish.
It would also return the historic Coast Guard boathouse to Stage Harbor.
A larger bond authorization was voted down at Town Meeting in May, but at the annual election a Proposition 2-1/2 override was approved.
The meeting will be held at Monomoy Middle School.
