Competitors from around the world are gearing up for this Sunday's 52nd annual Falmouth Road Race.
The Wheelchair Division will open the seven-mile race at 8:40, followed by the Elite Women, Elite Men and the general field gets kicking at 9:05.
Last year was a record-breaking fundraising year for the race as some 38-hundred runners scored donations of more than seven-point-two-million-dollars, mostly for locally focused organizations.
Hellen Obiri of Kenya won the Women's Division last year. She had a time of 35 minutes and 13 seconds. Fellow countryman Wesley Kiptoo with a time of 31 minutes and 8 seconds won the Men's Division.
There will be traffic detours set up and drivers out in the area this weekend are asked to be alert.
