Barnstable County is getting props for keeping up with the ever-changing digital world.
A recent survey by the National Center for Digital Government recognized the county for digital excellence, the only county in New England to receive the honor.
The survey found Barnstable County had a strong handle on data governance, cybersecurity and tech innovation.
The county's lead tech guru says it's a big achievement that highlights his office's commitment to staying ahead of the curve.
