A local gun violence prevention group is speaking out against the shooting of former President Trump during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Cape Cod Grandmothers Against Gun Violence is saddened by the events of Saturday afternoon, saying there is no place in the political process for violence of any kind.
The group is hopeful that everyone can move forward and create a quieter, more thoughtful environment where grievances can be aired without violence.
Grandmothers Against Gun Violence is a national, non-profit, non-partisan, grassroots organization focusing on gun violence prevention and firearm safety.
