The Town of Chatham says Oyster Pond has been reopened to swimming after July 3rd water samples tested well below the minimum standard for enterococci bacteria.
Bucks Creek, however, remains closed to swimming until further notice because of elevated bacteria levels.
Additional water samples have been collected for testing and the creek will be cleared once bacteria levels have dropped.
