Falmouth Police say there will be plainclothes officers out at the beaches through the holiday weekend due to what they say was unacceptable criminal activity and behavior last year.
In addition, there will be a heavy uniformed officer presence at Town beaches at select times to ensure public safety.
Police say all bags and coolers are subject to search and there is a zero-tolerance policy for disorderly conduct and the consumption of alcohol or marijuana in public.
