Barnstable County Commissioners have authorized a several grants to tackle homelessness.
The funding includes a Continuum of Care Coordinated Entry Systems grant of just over 85-thousand-dollars to support homeless initiatives and 74-thousand-dollars in funding for homelessness prevention planning with the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
There is also a 112-thousand-dollar grant that will be used to fund the Homeless Management Information System program.
