Barnstable police are telling folks to keep a close eye on their drinks when visiting local clubs and bars.
The department has been receiving reports of folks feeling the effects of possible date rape drugs like roofies or GHB.
They include disorientation, confusion, temporary paralysis and losing consciousness.
The drugs are colorless, odorless and tasteless, so the Barnstable PD is offering several tips on its Facebook page to help keep you from becoming a victim.
