A Pennsylvania school crossing guard is accused of providing marijuana to middle school students and smoking with at least one of them.

Kiara Lee, 26, was charged with two felony counts of drug possession with intent to deliver, two misdemeanor counts of corruption of a minor and two misdemeanor counts of possession of marijuana, according to court records obtained by the New York Post. Lee, who worked outside Penn Wood Middle School in Darby, was reportedly seen giving drugs and vapes to at least two students on multiple occasions, according to a student witness, who reported the incidents to school officials after one student claimed they had frequently smoked with the crossing guard.

Lee is suspected to have provided the vapes to the juvenile, who was known to be in possession of marijuana on multiple occasions, several times, NBC Philadelphia reported. A student's guardian also confirmed to police that their child received vapes and marijuana edibles from Lee.

“We walk past every day, so a lot of students see her passing it around and they would say, ‘Oh, let me hit the vape, let me hit the vape,'” a student told WTXF.

Lee also reportedly exchanged text messages with one student detailing their experiences after ingesting edibles.

“While marijuana may not seem like a big deal to some folks in the community, I think we can all agree that crossing guards should not be providing narcotics -– even if it is ‘just’ marijuana — to our kids,” Darby Borough Chief Joseph Gabe said via WPVI.
