Vineyard, Nantucket Dispensaries Sue Over Marijuana Transport Rules

Marijuana dispensaries on Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket Island have filed a lawsuit against the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission.

The claim the ban on transporting marijuana across the water from the mainland puts them at risk of closing because they can't receive new inventory.

According to the law, the islands can only sell marijuana that they grow on site because it's illegal on both the state and federal levels to transport it by water or air.
