During a Tuesday hearing at Hanscom Air Force Base, military prosecutors asked a hearing officer to recommended that Air National Guardsman Jack Teixeira be court-martialed.
The 22-year-old previously pleaded not guilty on federal charges for allegedly posting classified documents on social media while working for the 102nd Intelligence Wing at Joint Base Cape Cod.
Air Force prosecutors claim Teixeira failed to obey orders and presented evidence that he disobeyed orders and obstructed justice after leaking classified documents.
There is no word on a timeline for the hearing officer's recommendation.
