There is an update to an incident Sunday, in which a dog bit a small child.
The incident was reported at around 2:15 p.m.
First responders were called to a home in the 100 block of East Hill Road, where the two-year-old victim had been attacked by a pit bull mixed breed.
The child, who suffered a soft tissue injury to the face, was taken to Cape Cod Gateway Airport and flown to Boston for additional care.
The dog remains in custody of the owner, but dangerousness restrictions have been placed on the animal, while the investigation continues.
