A legislative committee is scheduled to hold a hearing today on a bill that would create a four-day work week pilot program in Massachusetts.
The bill would provide incentives for employers to support a four-day work week and would allow research into what impacts such a program would have.
Companies must have over 15 employees to participate in the program under the bill as written.
Employees would be able to opt out of the four-day work week and the surveys that will be used to collect data for the program.
