Not what you would generally expect your local police department to do.
But in Orleans Sunday a homeowner called police to remove a surprise visitor for his home.
The surprise visitor was a large snake.
Police removed it successfully and there were no injuries.
Oh... How did the snake enter the Orleans home?
Through an open door- left ajar for the family dog.
