Probation Complete For Son Of Former State Police Head

The Cape Cod Times reports Reid Mason, the son of former Massachusetts State Police Superintendent Christopher Mason, has completed a probationary term.

Last February, Mason was allegedly found slumped over the front seat of his car in Hyannis, and police said he smelled of alcohol and had five guns in the vehicle.

Mason was sentenced in Barnstable District Court to one year of probation for improper weapons storage.
