Barnstable County leaders are piping up in support of the EPA's findings that would deny JBCC from building a machine gun range.
In its draft determination, the EPA said the project could lead to contamination of Cape Cod's sole source aquifer, a point the county's health communication coordinator says is the most important for keeping Cape Codders safe and healthy.
A public hearing on the EPA's report is slated for 7 p.m. May 24th at the Sandwich Center for Active Living.
