Franchise Owners Hit With Hefty Fines

Dunkin' store owners in Massachusetts are being hit with state and federal fines for child labor violations.

The Mass Attorney General's Office has issued citations totaling nearly four-hundred-thousand dollars against two Dunkin' franchisees, including Somerset Donut Express in Somerset, Fall River and Dartmouth.

The U.S. Department of Labor has announced a smaller, twenty-thousand-dollar fine against franchisee Fernando Sardinha for alleged violations at Dunkin' locations in Assonet, Berkley, Hanover, Marion, Mattapoisett, Middleboro and Weymouth.
