Massachusetts House Lawmakers Overturn Gov. Bakers Veto On Illegals System

House lawmakers on Beacon Hill have voted to overturn Gov. Charlie Bakers veto on the "Work and family mobility act", which would set up a system for illegal immigrants to get a drivers license. Yesterdays override coming in a 119-36 vote. Here on the Cape only State Reps Steve Xiarhos and Tim Whelan, both former police officers, voted no. State Reps Sarah Peake, Dylan Fernandes & Kipp Diggs voted yes. The Senate takes it up next.
