The number of homes sold on Cape Cod is down, but median sale prices are up.
The first quarter report from Cape Cod & Islands Association of Realtors showed a total of 855 homes sold, which is down 238 homes from the same time last year.
The median sale price for a single-family home in the first quarter was $650,000 and for a condo it was $425,000.
In the same time in 2021, the median single-family home price was $590,000 and $340,000 for a condo.
The number of total sales is being blamed on low inventory.
