The state is providing the local seafood industry with $175,000 for marketing.

The Department of Fish and Game's Division of Marine Fisheries will distribute the funds that aim to help increase demand for seafood.

Woods Hole Sea Grant provided $100,000 of the funds.

The Martha’s Vineyard Shellfish Group will receive about $14,000 from the program.
