Hyannis And Chatham Receive Money To Combat PFAS

The Hyannis Water System and the Chatham Water Department are receiving $150,000 each from the state to pay for PFAS mitigation efforts in local drinking water supplies.

The money in Hyannis is a reimbursement for money spent on bottled water purchases and distribution in response to high levels of PFAS and in Chatham, the money will go toward the reactivation of a well to provide an alternative to high levels of PFAS in local supplies.
