In Wellfleet firefighters early Sunday morning extinguished a fire that destroyed a 30-foot recreational vehicle parked on Cassick Valley Road.
Neighbors called 911 to report the fire and Wellfleet Fire dispatched crews to 45 Cassick Valley Road at 3:28 a.m., the fire department said in a news release.
Earlier in the evening, a fire broke out in a vacant house on Hiramar Road around 11:30, the flames were quickly brought under control, and the State Fire Marshal is now investigating.
