Four people and two dogs are safe after they were rescued from their sinking boat on Saturday morning off the coast of Chatham.
The group set off in a 23-foot sports craft motor boat, and just before 9:30am, began to take on water.
As the boat sank, they shot off a flare to signal a nearby boat for help.
The capsized boat was salvaged and brought back to shore.
