Pope John Paul II Football Team Accused Of Using Racist Language

The football team for Pope John Paul the Second High School in Hyannis is being accused of using racist language during a game.

Reports indicate the words were allegedly uttered in Saturday’s game versus Boston Cathedral High School.

The Catholic Diocese of Fall River called the allegations deeply troubling and said there could be disciplinary action.

In the meantime, football activities at JP II have been suspended.
