Over 800 Boston Employees Suspended After Rejecting Vaccine

812 Boston city employees have been suspended without pay Tuesday after failing to comply with the city's mandate for Covid-19 vaccinations or weekly testing.

Last week, city officials warned 1,400 employees they had until Tuesday to come into compliance with the rule.

As of Tuesday, the city determined that 812 employees were still not compliant.

Those employees have been placed on unpaid leave.
