Cape Cod Gateway Airport is planning an in-depth, full-scale emergency drill on the airport grounds later this month.
The exercise will simulate a completely mock scenario of an aircraft accident.
Assistant airport manager Matthew Elia says the airport will have normal air traffic throughout the day while a portion of the airport will be closed off for the drills.
The drill will be held on September 28th.
