7 people were taken to the hospital after a Cape Air passenger plane went off the runway while landing and crashed into the woods Thursday afternoon at Provincetown Municipal Airport.
The 6 passengers and a pilot on board flight 2072 were taken by ambulance to Cape Cod Hospital, according to Cape Air, after the crash at about 3:30 p.m.
No fatalities were reported. Provincetown fire says some of the injuries are burns.
Weather is believed to have played a role in the crash.
Cape Air confirmed that flight 2072, a twin-engine Cessna 402, was traveling from Logan International Airport in Boston to Provincetown.
