The jury in the Thomas Latanowich police officer murder trial is still deliberating.
The Barnstable County Superior Court Jury recessed on Wednesday without a decision.
Latanowich is charged with murder for the shooting of Yarmouth Police Sergeant Sean Gannon in 2018.
Police were trying to serve Latanowich an arrest warrant at a mid-Cape home where he was staying.
He testified he was hiding in the attic because he thought someone was trying to kill him, and said he shot Gannon without knowing it was the police.
