The motorist who died after crashing into a home on the upper Cape over the weekend has been identified.
22-year-old Austin Roberts of Wareham was the driver, according to police.
A preliminary investigation indicates the vehicle was traveling on Central Avenue in East Falmouth when Roberts failed to stop at a stop sign, crossed East Falmouth Highway and crashed into the home.
The building took on minor damage and the occupants were not injured.
