Congressman Bill Keating questioned secretary of state Antony Blinken about the rise of cyber attacks across the country, like the one at Steamship Authority, during a House Foreign Affairs committee hearing Tuesday.
He asked Blinken what the country can do to better prepare for these cyber attacks.
The secretary’s response: the attack at the Steamship Authority has been going on for over a week, affecting online and phone reservations, the SSA’s website, and credit card payments.
