The Steamship Authority says it expects operations between the Cape and Islands to continue to be affected today after a ransomware attack on Wednesday.
In a statement the agency says that the ticketing process, including online and phone reservations is still not fully operational, customers remain unable to make or change reservations online or by phone.
Existing reservations will be honored and rescheduling and cancellation fees will be waived. Also, since the credit card terminals are not working, customers are being asked to use cash for any transactions.
The authority is not disclosing any details of the attack at this time.
