The Nantucket Fire Department responded to a deck fire at the dormitory of the Sankaty Head Golf Club on Sunday.
Reports indicate the fire was limited to the deck and did not spread to the building, causing moderate damage. No injuries were reported.
The Nantucket FD says improper disposal of smoking materials was suspected as the culprit.
