Governor Charlie Baker is responding to the petition being filed in Supreme Court that challenges a decision by the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court to uphold his emergency pandemic orders.
Baker is saying that his orders were pretty much in line with measures taken by other states.
The petition is being filed by the new civil liberties alliance.
It’s unclear if the Supreme Court will hear the case before the state lifts Covid restrictions on August 1st.
