Nantucket Airport Makes Payment To Those Affected By Water Contamination

The Inquirer and Mirror is reporting that the Nantucket Airport has agreed to make a onetime payment of $1,000 to cover the water bills of 23 neighboring homeowners who have been forced to move off well-water and connect to the town water due to PFAS contamination.

The payments were increased to $1,000 after an initial proposal of $500.
