A mid-Cape man is pleading guilty to federal drug possession and distribution charges.

The justice department says Dustin Monick of South Yarmouth was subjected to a traffic stop by local police in December 2019 which led to the discovery of heroin and fentanyl in a backpack.

Monick was also alleged to have kept more fentanyl and over $100,000 in cash in a storage locker.

He faces ten years to life in prison when he is sentenced later this year.
