Charges are being filed in connection to a homicide case in Falmouth.
The Cape and Islands District Attorney's Office says Cleber Mariano Jr. is accused of murdering Danielle Taylor at the CapeWind motel in Falmouth.
Mariano is from Falmouth; Taylor was from Mashpee. The two were reportedly in a previous dating relationship.
The C-and-I D.A.'s office says Mariano is being held in a Rhode Island jail and is refusing extradition, so a governor's warrant will be sought to force his return to Massachusetts to stand trial.
