Orleans Asks Residents For Input On Future Use Of Governor Prence Motel

The town of Orleans is asking people to take a survey on potential future uses of the Governor Prence Motel.

The town says it may have an opportunity to acquire the downtown property on Route 6A, which would require town meeting approval.

The survey can be found on the Orleans town website.

The potential uses include: community center, fire station, affordable housing, commercial space, and other options.

A consultant plans to share the info at a joint meeting of the Orleans select board, planning board and affordable housing trust next Tuesday.
