An elderly woman was flown to a Boston-area hospital with serious injuries after her own vehicle backed over her in Falmouth on Wednesday. At around 6 p.m., Falmouth Fire and Rescue responded to a person whose legs were trapped under a vehicle at a condo development off Woods Hole Road. Crews deployed specially-designed airbags to lift the car off of her. The incident is being investigated by the Falmouth Police Department.
