The Drug Enforcement Agency is upgrading its existing office in Providence, Rhode Island to focus on drug-trafficking from that city to the South Coast and Cape Cod areas of Massachusetts. That's according to a spokesperson who says the new office should be up and running in the next few months. Acting DEA administrator Tim Shea told the Fall River Herald News in a recent interview that it's no secret the bulk of hard drugs that get to Fall River, New Bedford and the Cape come from Providence.
