Last call is early these days in Nantucket because of the pandemic.
Board of Health says it will be easier to regulate an 11:30 p.m. last call and a midnight closure. Previously it was 1 a.m.
Officials say the concern was always that the later it got the more likely that people would share drinks and get closer to each other.
The order is in effect until further notice.
