A Beacon Hill measure that would have allowed illegal immigrants to have standard driver’s licenses in this state has been quietly withdrawn from further consideration.
The stand alone measure will not be debated in the House.
There is a similar measure that has been in the senate.
It is unclear whether the Senate will debate the measure before the end of the formal session, the end of the week.
