Local Airports are getting a big chunk of federal funding in order to make it through the tough times because of the Covid-19 crisis.
Barnstable Municipal gets 18 million dollars. Nantucket Memorial gets 6 point 2 million. Martha's Vineyard gets 1 point 2 million.
The money is unrestricted with many of the airports who got grants in New England using it to offset the massive losses across the industry.
