Chatham officials are asking residents who have just returned from trips to New York to heed the warnings of the White House and monitor their health while self isolating for two weeks because of the Covid 19 virus.
Dr. Robert Ducanson, the director of Health and Natural Resources says that it would be a voluntary action.
New York is now accounting for nearly half of all the new cases in the United States.
